Earth and Sky: a Wild Yoga Retreat

With Claire Mace and Adrian Kingsley-Hughes

2021 dates coming soon

Join us at wonderfully wild Henbant Permaculture farm in North Wales for a weekend of yoga, meditation and nature inspiration. Switch your mobile phone off and allow yourself to be nurtured by ceremony, yoga and campfire circles.  Get grounded through direct contact with nature and immerse yourself in the energy that the area has to offer.

Take time for yourself to meditate, relax, and to tune in to the power of the trees and mountains around you, and that of the earth below, the wisdom and energy of the coming autumn, the waning moon, the clouds, and the stars above.

Situated on an elevated spot with stunning views of the sea on one side and Snowdon on the other, Henbant is a working farm, so you can also expect to meet their beautiful cows, pigs and chickens and see farm life roll along around you. Facilities on the site are beautiful, but basic. Expect a nearly-wild feel, far away from towns, cities, and traffic noise, where you’ll wake up in a tranquil landscape, sustainably managed using permaculture principles.

All the food will be lovingly created for us by the onsite team at Henbant, predominantly from ingredients grown organically on the farm.  You’ll get the opportunity to enjoy their grass-fed lamb, organic vegetables and raw calf-at-foot milk – but don’t worry, there will be vegan and vegetarian options also available.

Choose from some lovely glamping options.  Will you stay in hand-built wooden yurt, or the quaint off-grid geodome?  Note that all the accommodations and camping pitches are a long stroll away from the main farmhouse, yoga barn and shower block, so you will need to bring a torch and your best shoes, boots, or wellingtons for walking with you (it’s best to expect a little mud!).  There are a number of compost toilets situated near the glamping areas.

Please note that timings and sessions will alter in sympathy with the weather
